Hello

I am a passionate college counseling clinician, private practitioner, researcher, administrator, and leader. From providing developmentally appropriate and culturally sensitive individual and group therapy to designing and implementing treatment programs for emerging adults experiencing mental health struggles, my work centers around improving the landscape and outcomes of college mental health.

I currently serve as the Director of Counseling and Prevention Services at The College of New Jersey where I work to improve access to and outcomes of mental health services.

Areas of Focus

  • Exploring innovations in college counseling service delivery to meet the overwhelming demands for treatment.

  • Promoting student wellness through collaboration with campus partners. Students need more than the help of their college counseling center to thrive.

  • Building services to treat students with serious mental illnesses on campus.

  • Removing barriers to treatment for students with marginalized identities.

  • Working to remove the stigma around mental health treatment.

  • Destigmatizing LGBTQ identities.

  • Providing clinical supervision and delivering clinical services that prioritize and promote cultural humility.
